As the manufacturer and supplier in China, The Shangtai Valve’s 1PC Carbon Steel Ball Valve with Locking Device is designed for reliable on/off control in industrial pipeline systems. Featuring a compact 1 piece carbon steel body, a precision-machined ball, durable sealing seats, and a lockable handle, this valve provides secure shut-off performance while helping prevent unauthorized or accidental operation.
1PC Carbon Steel Ball Valve with Locking Device combines a strong body structure with a practical locking mechanism,
helping operators maintain stable flow control and reduce the risk of misoperation.
Compared with multi-piece valve structures, the 1 piece body design offers a compact profile and fewer potential
external leakage points. The carbon steel construction provides excellent mechanical strength and cost efficiency,
making this valve suitable for general industrial applications where stainless steel is not required.
Product Working Principle
The valve uses a quarter-turn ball mechanism to control media flow.
When the handle is turned parallel to the pipeline, the bore of the ball aligns with the flow path, allowing the
medium to pass through. When the handle is rotated 90 degrees, the ball turns perpendicular to the flow direction,
blocking the passage and shutting off the flow.

Selection Suggestions
When choosing a 1PC Carbon Steel Ball Valve with Locking Device, consider the following points:
Medium Compatibility
Confirm whether the valve material and sealing material are suitable for the fluid, such as water, oil, gas, or
compressed air.
Pressure Rating
Select the valve according to the actual working pressure and system pressure class.
Working Temperature
Choose suitable seat and seal materials based on the operating temperature range.
Valve Size
Match the valve size with the pipeline diameter to ensure proper flow capacity.
End Connection Type
Select threaded, flanged, welded, or customized connection types according to the pipeline design.
Port Type
Full port is recommended when lower pressure drop is required. Reduced port can be selected for compact installation
and cost efficiency.
Locking Requirement
Confirm whether the valve needs to be locked in the open position, closed position, or both.
Surface Protection
For outdoor or humid environments, suitable coating or anti-corrosion treatment is recommended.

FAQ
Q1: What is a 1 piece ball valve?
A 1 piece ball valve uses a compact single-piece body structure. It has fewer body joints than multi-piece designs,
helping reduce possible external leakage points.
Q2: What is the purpose of the locking device?
The locking device allows the handle to be secured with a padlock in the open or closed position, helping prevent
accidental operation.
Q3: What media can this valve be used for?
It is commonly used for compatible media such as water, oil, gas, compressed air, and other non-corrosive fluids.
For
corrosive media, stainless steel or special materials may be recommended.
Q4: Can the valve be locked in both open and closed positions?
Depending on the handle and locking plate design, the valve can be configured to lock in the required position.
Please confirm your locking requirement before ordering.
Q5: What connection types are available?
Common options include threaded, flanged, welded, or customized connections depending on the valve design and
application.
Q6: Is carbon steel suitable for outdoor use?
Carbon steel can be used outdoors with proper coating or anti-corrosion treatment. For highly corrosive
environments, additional protection or stainless steel may be required.
Q7: What information is needed for a quotation?
Please provide valve size, pressure rating, connection type, medium, working temperature, quantity, and any special
requirements.
