Shangtai 3 Piece Fully Encapsulated Butt-welded Sanitary Ball Valve is available in 304/316 stainless steel with butt-weld ends finished to approximately Ra 0.15μm. Its fully encapsulated seals and smooth internal flow path are designed to reduce product residue and support CIP/SIP cleaning. ISO 9001 and CE documentation is available for applicable configurations, making the valve suitable for hygienic fluid processing systems.
This 3 Piece Fully Encapsulated Butt-welded Sanitary Ball Valve uses butt-weld ends for permanent connection to hygienic piping systems. The inner and outer surfaces of the weld ends are machined to a surface roughness of approximately Ra 0.15μm, providing a smooth welding surface and reducing areas where residue may accumulate around the joint.
The valve uses fully encapsulated seals, with the elastic sealing element enclosed within a smooth protective structure to limit exposed gaps and product retention. Available in 304 or 316 stainless steel, it can be supplied with a polished internal flow passage for sanitary processing and CIP/SIP cleaning. The three-piece construction allows access to internal sealing components for inspection and replacement after the valve has been isolated and depressurized.

Product Advantages
1. Precision-Turned Butt-Weld Ends
Both inner and outer surfaces of the weld ends are precision machined to Ra ≈ 0.15μm, ensuring high coaxiality and
tight fit with on-site sanitary pipelines, guaranteeing stable welding quality and eliminating hidden sanitary risks
at connection joints.
2. Fully Encapsulated Sealing Structure
The fully encapsulated seal design completely wraps the elastic sealing core, removing exposed elastomer gaps and
fluid retention areas. It effectively prevents medium accumulation and microbial growth, maintaining long-term
hygienic performance and simplifying cleaning procedures.
3. Premium Sanitary-Grade Stainless Steel
Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel options, the valve delivers excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical
strength. The mirror-polished internal flow path ensures smooth fluid transfer with minimal resistance, fully
complying with sanitary industrial piping requirements.
4. 3PC Split Structure for Easy Maintenance
The three-piece split body allows full disassembly and seal replacement directly on the pipeline without cutting off
the entire line, greatly reducing system downtime and lowering daily operation and maintenance costs.
